Blackout
Description
Blackout is a networked multiplayer FPS game made in Unreal Engine 4. Players begin the game with approximately 50% of their screen blacked out. Shooting an enemy player increases the players screen space, being shot by an enemy reduces screen space. When a player loses all visibility they die. Various guns are scattered throughout the map. Players walk over these weapons to automatically pick up and switch to said weapon.
Blackout utilizes Unreal Engines network replication to manage server-client networking. Blackout is run via a listening server. Currently, the game only supports 1v1 matches however larger team deathmatches are coming soon.
